WHY DO WE PLANT FOREST TREES?

We want our forests to thrive and fulfill their natural functions. Fresh air and clean water cannot be taken for granted. Nature needs us, and we want to help. Planting trees can be fun for children and great for team-building events, strengthening relationships while aiding the environment.

BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT REFORESTATION

• Tree seedlings are planted on pre-prepared areas planned by foresters.
• A planted forest produces oxygen, significantly protects the soil, and helps retain, regulate, and filter water.

Nature could manage on its own, but we help by accelerating the process. Let's assist nature and show our gratitude.

WHEN DOES TREE PLANTING TAKE PLACE?

• Tree planting is carried out in early spring.
• The next reforestation will take place in April and typically lasts about 2–3 weeks (depending primarily on weather). We start at 9:00 am during weekdays. If interested, alternative days (e.g., weekends) can be arranged.

HOW DOES THE REFORESTATION WORK?

• We will plant trees with the help of Zázrivá foresters.
• Under their guidance, we will plant forest seedlings.
• In a few years, we will enjoy the beauty of a new forest, which means so much to us all.

DID YOU KNOW...?

Thanks to the ideal conditions for planting tree seedlings, the month of April earned the honorary title "Month of Forests."

Our first reforestation took place in the spring of 2024. Together, we supported nature and believe we'll continue benefiting our region.
